Legislative Fellows Program

I received a call from Jack 2 days back who informed me that my name has been selected from the large group of candidates for this important fellowship. There will be 3 Malaysians who will represent Malaysia. And two other countries that will be in this program are from Indonesia and Philippines. They too have 3 candidates each. Total 9 of us.


ACYPL is as the logo about state The American Council of Young Political Leaders. I am not new to ACYPL as i was part of the Malaysian delegations back in December, 2005.


The schedule looks packed but GOOD :) looking forward to it! :)


October 3 Fellows from Malaysia, The Philippines and Indonesia arrive in Washington DC

October 4 - 8 Program orientation in Washington DC

October 8 - November 6 Four week fellowship in host state

October 25 - 29 ACYPL Program officer Site Visit

November 2 ELECTION DAY 2010

November 6 Fellows return to Washington DC

November 8 - 9 US Department of State Fellows Congress

November 10 ACYPL Wrap Up Programming

November 11 Fellows depart home
